Flawed

One of the most interesting characteristics of my new instrument; a MIDI piano mapped to an ordinary keyboard, is that you can take written information and create a musical composition. Obviously there is a lot of variability in how it sounds, and sometimes I'm not always satisfied how it turns out. This one, though, is based on a poem I wrote, titled "Flawed" and I think it turned out quite musical. I need to re-record it at some point to start with a pause, since I don't like the way it jumps in when you play it, but for now it works for sharing it with you folks. Underneath, for the curious, I'll include the "written music"

Every step I take is a mistake,
Everything I do is flawed,
Every moment feels like a retake,
Breaking the same stupid "laws".

I stutter when I should speak clearly,
I shout when I should hold my tongue,
My words always cost me dearly,
I even hum when I should've sung.

I'm forever the fool,
Never the wise,
I can't see the truth,
Hidden among the lies.

Over and over and over again,
Trapped in a timeless loop that never ends,
I'm just afraid that at the end of it,
I wont have any more friends.
